This year I won’t be reporting live from Tech-Ed, but Microsoft will be broadcasting the Tech-Ed Europe Keynote Live from Berlin!

Just a month after the Dutch TechNet Live event it’s time for the yearly Tech Ed Europe event! This time it’s not in the beautiful Barcelona, but in the German capital Berlin! Personally I think it will be one hell of an event!

Mainly because at this years edition there will be three major products which has just been released. Last week I received a newsletter about the event. Just like last year you will receive a one year TechNet Plus subscription (value $349 dollar) and a one year free subscription to Tech-Ed Online for free! New this year is the MMS 2009 DVD set containing all the breakout sessions.

Last but not least every attendee will receive a Full copy of Windows 7 Professional Ultimate (for free!). I wish I could be part of all the Berlin fun, but for know I’m not sure if I will be able to attend this years event!

I can promise you one thing : If I will attend the event….you can follow me through my blog. (just like last year during TechEd EMEA 2008…and during the upcoming TechNet Live event in the Netherlands)

Just last week I blogged about the Get On The Bus Tour and how you can get on the bus yourself. Tonight Eric mailed me that the registration page for the Dutch and Belgian Get On The Bus stops.

If you want to meet the MS Learning Crew (Tjeerd, Ken, Joanne, Liberty, Stephen, Melissa, David, Dana or Ian) and me they only thing you have to do is to register for the Dutch stop which will be at InfoSupport in Veenendaal.

Register for the event Friday October 30th 9am – 12pm – Mechelen, Belgium Monday November 2nd 6:30pm – 9pm – Veenendaal, Netherlands

Update : When you are registering for the event, you have to enter a BTW nummer (see picture below) to submit the form. You can use a fake number (if you’re not registering as a company).

Update #2 : Just received the InfoSupport newsletter today : The first 50 who register for the event will receive a free copy of Windows 7 Ultimate!

Prior to TechEd Europe, there will be a bus touring through Europe. You can read all about the event at the MSLearn blog btw. I just heard from Eric Denekamp (one of the guys over at InfoSupport) that the Dutch stop will be at InfoSupport, Veenendaal.

I heard that you can even win a ticket for TechEd Europe! Want to know how you can get on the bus? Just click here to read what you have to do! Besides the stop in Veenendaal the bus will stop at several European Cities. Find a stop near you!

Eric told me that you have to register to be able to visit the bus at InfoSupport (so they can order enough food and drinks). When the subscription link is available, I’ll let you guys know! For now you can only clear your calender for the event at November 2nd 2009!

Na vijf dagen sessies moet ik zeggen dat ik wel blij was dat het vrijdagmiddag half vijf was en dat Tech-Ed IT Pro 2008 officieel ten einde was.

Nadat we afscheid hadden genomen van alle vrienden en bekenden moest er natuurlijk nog even een foto gemaakt worden van ons met de twee Party Animals van Microsoft Nederland : Tony Krijnen en Daniel van Soest.

Hierna vertrokken we snel richting ons hotel aangezien we de koffers lekker in ons hotel achter konden laten na het uitchecken.

Nadat we de koffers hadden opgehaald zijn we per taxi naar het vliegveld van Barcelona vertrokken vanwaar we rond 21:20 opstegen vanaf  Barcelon Airport. Tijdens de vlucht bleek wel dat de week toch zwaar was geweest aangezien Eric gewoon lekker in slaap is gevallen. Natuurlijk kon ik het niet laten en moest dit even vastleggen op de gevoelige plaat.

Ik zeg : Tot volgend jaar in Berlijn!
