Prepare yourself for the 71-659 Exam
Earlier today I blogged about the availability of the new Windows Server 2008 Server Virtualization beta exam. You probably want to prepare yourself for this beta exam, but (as always with a beta exam) you can’t find all the info you need. That’s normal! The preparation material for a beta exam is always limited….but there is some info available. To make it easy for you, I’ll collected some resources and I placed them below!
- Exam Preparation Guide
- A Free 2 Hour Windows Server 2008 R2 Training
- Windows Server 2008 R2 Overview
- Download a Windows Server 2008 R2 Evaluation Version
- Windows Server 2008 R2 Product Documentation
- Windows Server 2008 R2 Homepage
If you happen to run into some more resources, please let me know and I’ll add them to the list!
MCP: The 71-659 is available…be quick, seats are limited!
At 12:00am (EST) the 71-659 became available for registration. As I blogged before there will be a very limited number of seats!
I’ve been able to register for the exam…..I’m curious how long it will take this time to fill up all the seats! Will Microsoft extend the number of seats again like they did before, they said they won’t…..

To be clear : I won’t give you the promotional code to register for the exam. It will be announced later this week on the MS Learn Blog!

The New Cool ‘Online’ Features of Office 2010

If you have a TechNet or MSDN Subscription and didn’t download Office 2010 already, you really should go and download it! Most of the features that were already in the ‘old’ Office versions are there of course, but I discovered (thanks Peter for tips about PowerPoint!). Some of the features are already discussed at several other websites, but I still will mention them. I also added a nice video at the end which shows the new Vortex transition possibilities…
